Our commitment to transparency

Events in London is operated by E Labs Ventures Ltd (128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX). We believe in being completely transparent about how we generate revenue and how that may — or may not — affect our content.

What are affiliate links?

Some of the links on Events in London are affiliate links. This means that if you click one of these links and subsequently make a purchase or booking, we may receive a commission or referral fee from the third-party platform or merchant.

This commission comes at no additional cost to you — the price you pay is the same whether you use our link or navigate directly to the website. In some cases, our partnerships may allow us to offer you exclusive discounts or promotions.

Which links may be affiliate links?

Affiliate links may appear when we link to:

  • Ticketing platforms (e.g. Resident Advisor, Dice, Eventbrite, Skiddle, See Tickets)
  • Venue websites
  • Hotel and accommodation recommendations near event venues
  • Restaurant and bar recommendations
  • Event-related products or services

Where we are required by law or platform policy to disclose affiliate relationships adjacent to a specific link, we will do so with a label such as "Ad", "Sponsored", or "Affiliate link".

Does this affect our editorial independence?

No. Our event listings, recommendations, and editorial content are based on publicly available information and our own editorial judgement. We do not accept payment to list, feature, or promote specific events over others in our organic listings.

Paid placements, sponsored content, and advertising are clearly labelled and kept editorially separate from our organic content.

Advertising

In addition to affiliate links, Events in London may display paid advertising from venues, promoters, and event organisers. These are clearly labelled as "Sponsored" or "Advertisement". Our advertising relationships do not influence the content of our organic event listings.

Regulatory compliance

This disclosure is made in accordance with the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) guidelines on endorsements and reviews, the ASA/CAP Code, and applicable FTC guidelines for international visitors. We are committed to full compliance with all relevant UK and international advertising standards.
